Call-Pickup with Asterisk and Snom phones

A small tutorial explaining how to get call-pickup working in asterisk (freepbx) with snom phones (snom320, snom370, snom821, snom870)

In asterisk (freepbx), edit the extension you want to use call-pickup on.

Edit the following two fields.

callgroup, pickupgroup

Set these two fields to lets say 1

Follow the above steps on all extensions you want the callpickup feature activated on.

Edit the following settings on the phone:

callpickup_dialoginfo: on

On the monitoring buttons (function keys)

- Choose the type BLF (Busy Lamp Field)

- Enter the following info: <sip:extension@pbx_host;user=phone>|**

The "|**" is important! This is the string that picks the call up.
